I am a "Dosanko" ("Hokkaido-ite"). Recently, Hokkaido has been attracting more tourists from all over the world. Hokkaido is a unique place because of its uncommon history, Ainu culture, and rich natural environment. Growing up in Hokkaido, I didn't appreciate the winter so much. However, when I moved from Hokkaido and lived in the Tokyo area for a year, I recognized that I missed the snow and clear cold air. Now, I appreciate living in such an attractive area through my job as a tour guide.
I myself like travelling overseas and domestically throughout Japan. All these trips have inspired me to discover the uniqueness of each country and area. Just as I have experienced, I would like to assist my guests in having fun and gaining nice memories through their visits to Sapporo/Hokkaido.
In addition, I like to look for new and trendy restaurants or confectionery shops. Since Hokkaido is blessed with high-quality ingredients, you can enjoy delicious local specialties. I can introduce interesting restaurants and taverns.
I am looking forward to sharing enjoyable tours with visitors to Hokkaido and Sapporo!

Kaoru demonstrates professionalism. She was able to make executive decisions in consultation with us on the itinerary due to heavy traffic which affected our schedule. She also personally brought us to the restaurant of our choice at the end of tour even though she did not have to. Though it was not easy to find halal food for us; she tried to accommodate to our needs.
