Enjoy Embu das Artes lovely and country sited atmosphere to do some local shopping. Best known for its art and handcrafts fair which has been displaying since the 1960s, its streets guard houses and architectural constructions typical from Brazilian Colonial times. Forty easy highway minutes away from the biggest city in Brazil, it will give you an idea of a typical Brazilian country side cozy town.
Embu das Artes is forty minutes away from Sao Paulo through an easy highway.
After picking you up we go direct to the location where walking is a must to fully apreciate the local atmosphere.
If you are interested in history, there is a local museum which the price is very cheap, but mostly the tour is outdoors or inside of stores where there are local gifts, arts and handcrafts objects being sold.
There are cafes and restaurants with local food and snacks you can enjoy; as well as some stores selling local sweets and other local food items. You can also find stores selling local liquors.
From there we come straight back to Sao Paulo.
