I consider myself a foodie, absolutely passionate about food and the act of cooking along with friends and family members. . . they always find me in a kitchen.
I have travelled to more than 60 countries and I realized that no matter where you live a Kitchen is always the best place to share and care for each other. Right after I sold my restaurant I stated a medium side Catering company called La Cocina de Tatan and started doing events and provide Cooking Classes at home. . . . that's when I thought about providing a local gourmet experience to tourists knowing I have got a lot to share.
What I offer is a fantastic gourmet experience touring the best fresh markets in Santiago, Mercado Central and La Vega (seafood and vegetables), along with a cooking class in my premises at the exclusive El Golf neighbourhood and sightseeing some of our fine (not necessarily expensive) restaurant in Bellavista and Lastarria districts.
Food and beverages are all included as well as transportation. In a 5 hour journey enjoy our hospitality and a local cuisine while enjoying a beautiful view of the Andes mountains, Manquehue hill and beautifull trees of Los Leones golf club.
The menu I have prepared for you includes Oysters with our world class Sauvignon Blanc from Casablanca Valley, local Tapas as appetizers, Ceviche with our fresh fish we just had bought and then a main Mapuche dish called Charquicán original from the south of the country. Of course we will not miss dessert. . . this wil be assorted fruits of the season and sweets from our bakeries.
