On the way back to Porto a stop to discover the city of Guimarães, were Portugal was born. The Castle, Royal House and the old center of the city are some of the highlights. Another option is to visit the Bom Jesus Sanctuary in the city of Braga, with the first elevator tram in the world moved by water and gravity still in use.
This tour is flexible and will adapt to your preferences.
Leaving from Porto we will proceed, in highway about 2 hours, to the Monastery of Santiago de Compostela, in Spain.
After a few hours visiting the inspiring Monastery of Santiago de Compostela, we will return to Porto.
In the way a stop in the city of Guimarães, with it's well preserved Castle and center of the town, or, a stop in the Sanctuary of Bom Jesus and it's water moving elevator tram, in the city of Braga.
