Welcome to San Salvador, a fascinating city teeming with life and many interesting places to visit.
The center of the city offers a glimpse into the daily life of Salvadorans, while offering the chance to visit historic monuments, main squares and museums.
Our tour will take us to visit Downtown San Salvador where you can visit the famous Metropolitan Cathedral and Gerardo Barrios Square, the perfect vantage point for admiring the grand National Palace. From there we will move to La Plaza Libertad and the beautiful Iglesia El Rosario where, the visitor can experience a stunning atmosphere generated by hundreds of small pieces of multicolored stained glass , creating exquisite hues unlike anything you have seen in a church before. We will also visit the craft market, some of the most exclusive areas of the capital, and a charming local market
For those who want to try pupusas the national dish of El Salvador our tour includes a visit to one of the best local restaurants,

Itinerary

San Salvador is a compact city, We will start our day visiting some of the capital exclusive areas seeing Plazas and important monuments like Plaza Salvador del Mundo, Plaza La Bandera, Monumento La Revolucion, we will drive through some of the city commercial areas and main streets like Paseo General Escalon, Zona Rosa, Santa Elena and will make a couple of stops in some overlooks to have breathtaking views of the San Salvador Volcano.
In Downtown San Salvador we include and Stop at The Plaza Gerardo Barrios, cathedral of San Salvador, Teatro and palacio Nacional Facade we are going to take a short walk in downtown streets to get to Plaza La Libertad and Iglesia El Rosario. then we will head straight to a local restaurant to have lunch where we highly recommend you to try Pupusas the country most famous national dish.
In the afternoon there will time to visit San Salvador Souvenirs market, local museums and other interesting places in the capital area

We highly recommend you start this tour at 8:30 am to skip the City traffic in the morning. The choice is yours

We will spend about an hour for lunch and thirty minutes hour or less to drink a cup of local coffee, chocolate or a local beverage in a local cafe or restaurant.

We will get around San Salvador by sedan car or minivan clean and with air condition, and will take a Walk at a leisurely pace to visit Plaza Gerardo Barrios and Plaza Libertad in Downtown San Salvador .
