Today I invite you to learn about its history and its secrets and discover the natural history of "La Giganta" mountains and life in South-californian ranches.

-8:45 stop at the Sierra de La Giganta for a natural history interpretation
-9:30 stop at the ruins of the first mission
-10:30 arrival to the mission of San Javier, history and iconographic interpretation of the facades and the altarpiece
- 11:30 visit to the orchard of the mission
- 12:00 lunch at a local restaurant (included)
- 12:30 leisure time to walk in the town
- 01:pm return to the hotel

Rodolfo was incredibly knowledgeable about the history of the area and the mission. His knowledge of Art History as it relates to this building was complete and well presented. He was personable and easy to be with. We feel as though we have a friend now in the Loreto area and will call on him again.
