There in the Sierra de la Giganta lays the most beautiful and best preserved mission founded by the Jesuits in the colonization of California. Today I invite you to learn about its history and its secrets and discover the natural history of "La Giganta" mountains and life in South-californian ranches.
- 8 am: departure
-8:45 stop at the Sierra de La Giganta for a natural history interpretation
-9:30 stop at the ruins of the first mission
-10:30 arrival to the mission of San Javier, history and iconographic interpretation of the facades and the altarpiece
- 11:30 visit to the orchard of the mission
- 12:00 lunch at a local restaurant (included)
- 12:30 leisure time to walk in the town
- 01:pm return to the hotel
