Explore the City of Angels, with transfer from and back to San Diego
Starting in San Diego , this is your chance to add Los Angeles to your trip. We will hit the highlights, like Hollywood and the Walk of Fame, Griffith Observatory, Santa Monica Pier, Malibu and much more along the way.
This tour will likely take more than 8 hours, but no charge for extra time.
I am open to requests of places you would like to see.
The trip from San Diego is a two hour ride. we will go up I-5 N along the coast. Some of the beaches we pass are the beaches surfed by the Beach Boys when they wrote many of their surfing songs.
For about half hour we will be passing Camp Pendleton, where Marines get combat training. We drive through Orange County. I will point out the Matterhorn, in Disneyland, which can be seen from the freeway.
Then on to Hollywood, Santa Monica, Malibu and back down I-5 to your drop off point.
We leave San Diego at the agreed time for the two hour drive to Los Angeles.
We will pass Disneyland while we are heading north to Hollywood. In Hollywood we will walk the Hollywood Walk Of Fame. Then continue on to get as close to the Hollywood sign as we can.
While returning from the mountain we will pass close by for a photo op with the iconic Capitol Records building.
We will visit Universal Studios and Griffith Observatory. You've seen it in many movies but maybe did not know what it was. Then I'll take you to the Santa Monica Pier and world famous Venice Beach.
Now let's go home.

I am a disabled veteran with leg damage. I can walk a bit but not long distances. This should not cause any issues with my tours since they are mostly sightseeing from the car. Walking is minimal.
