River Oaks, TX, United States

Explore new and captivating places, discover enchanting gardens, historical buildings and wine tours in the Hill Country of Texas.

Float down a mild river on a tube or find a new and colorful marketplace, these are the things I take pleasure in and want to share with you on your visit to San Antonio, Texas.

I have a commercial driver licence with a passenger endorsement for your safety. I have excellent driving skills and have worked as a 55 passenger bus driver. I love my work and have invested in a comfortable seven passenger minivan with big windows.

You will be enchanted by San Antonio, located in southern Texas, a place rich in culture, colorful history and major tourist attractions. I chose to live in San Antonio because I love and appreciate a place enthusiastic about family fun, history, culture and the arts.

The charming Texas Hill Country is my favorite year-round wine/foodie tour, and is only a short drive from San Antonio, Texas. It is a real treat to visit especially with a local guide who knows the world renowned wineries, restaurants and attractions in this stunning part of the world.

I aspire to please you the visitor with a wonderful experience seeing and doing things that interest you, an experience that will give you long lasting memories of your trip to San Antonio and the surrounding area.

The parks, gardens and culturally rich historical buildings, the spectacular landscapes and exciting river tours inspire my tour plans that I created especially with you in mind. I take my time to create a tour that is personalized just for you and yours so that you see and do what you like.

Take a look at my city, river and wine tours. Feel free to choose the places that are most interesting to you. I will take you through the most scenic routes in San Antonio, Texas and surrounding areas.

I can conduct tours in fluent Spanish too.

A Recent Review of this guide

I can't adequately say how comfortable I felt with John who promptly picked me up at the hotel, spent 4 hours educating me and then dropped me off at the airport for my return flight home. His knowledge, both professionally and from a personal perspective was so informative and provided wonderful background on the history of San Antonio. I wouldn't hesitate to book his services again. It's a beautiful city and I was surprised to learn it is the 7th largest in the U.S.
