The Panoramic Tour - Half Day Tour
One of my favourite places in town. It is one of the most visited areas in town but you can also see it in a different way, considering the atmosphere of Pensinsula de Itapagipe (where is located Ribeira, Bonfim Church and Ponta do Humaita).
For this tour I highly suggest ending at sunset of Ponta do Humaita. During summer this might be a bit crowed specially during the weekends, but still worth.
We will visit Ribeira, the old fisheman village now became famous for the pitoresque atmosphere, view of "suburbio ferroviario" and of course the famous Sorveteria da Ribeira (flavors of differnet tropical fruits such as "cupuaçu", "caja", "biri-biri", "abacaxi") Church of Bonfim: The veneration of Nosso Senhor do Bonfim is an old tradition in Portugal. Its our Basilica. . . if a Brazilian comes to Salvador he does not leave without visiting this church!!!
At the end of the tour a panoramic view of Salvador from
Ponta do Humaita and Forte Monte. My favourite sunset in town!Come and Enjoy Itapagipe!!!
Tradicional itinerary: panoramic driving towards Cidade Baixa (it's possible to stop in Mercado Modelo or Feira de Sao Joaquim), Ribeira, Bonfim and Ponta do Humaita
(the itinerary might change depending on traffic conditions)
Meeting Location + Tour Duration

If you want we can add a extra cost for a private driver, besides the tour guide.

We arrived to Salvador only for one day. Sayuri was able to accommodate us in her busy schedule. The tour was very informative and well organized. She customized the tour and took us to the places we wanted to see. We saw local market, fishing community , busy streets of Salvador full of locals, the places we wouldn't probably venture alone. I am glad Sayuri was my guide in Salvador!! Definitely recommended.
