It gives me great pleasure and satisfaction to give my passengers the very best experience. I enjoy sharing the history and natural beauty of my home Town and Province. I have lived my entire life in Saint John, though I love to travel and do so at every opportunity.
My first experience in Tourism was as a travel consultant with the City of Saint John at our local Tourist Bureau. This led me to work as a Tour Guide/Director for two local companies in the Saint John area.
I come from parents with Irish roots, and like my mom, I love having people around me and enjoy meeting new people and learning about them. I consider myself very fortunate indeed, to have been born and raised in such a beautiful, historic and slow paced environment.
I have had the pleasure of giving more than 300 hundred tours and never get tired of promoting my city. I love sharing stories of our past and present. Our historic buildings give me great pride in my surroundings. My main goal is to ensure that you have the best possible experience on your visit to Saint John and surrounding countryside. To ensure that everyone on my tours can hear me in the Mini Van, I have a Personal Amplification device. This device is plugged into the radio and can be heard equally in all areas of the Van.
I can offer a great variety of tours, including tours to various locations in the Province and further afield, lasting from 2 hrs to 10 days. I would also be happy to develop a personal tour with your particular interests in mind.
I hold Certificates in Tour Guiding and Tour Directing. These courses have helped me to become a Professional Tour Guide and my love of my home Province makes me, want you, to have the most positive experience and say at the end of the day, that was, Interesting, Informative and Fun.
I hope you will contact me to book your upcoming Tour of our Region.
A Recent Review of this guide
Trina and our driver were waiting at the pier as we disembarked our ship. They provided us and another couple with an outstanding overview of the area, including a bowl of local clam chowder. They were eager to accommodate our individual interests such as my desire to photograph autumn leaves and collect interesting rocks from the beach. Trina is a true "local" and had so much information to share. We each left with a "goody bag" containing local treats and souvenirs. Merci Trina!
