Time travel through ages!

The idea of this tour is to have a look at Russian history visiting the highlights of Saint Petersburg in chronological order from the 18th century till the 20th . So, you can see how the city and the country were developing through ages.
We will start from the foundation of the city at the very beginning of the 18th century visiting the Peter and Paul Fortress that is the birthplace of Saint Petersburg. Then we will visit the two palaces of the 18th centuries: Catherine's Palace with its famous Amber room and Pavlovsk where we can see the way of life of the Royal family.
On the second day we will go to Peterhof with its interiors of the end of the 18th century and the Hermitage museum (Winter Palace) with its interiors of the 19th century.
On the third day we will visit the Saint Isaac's Cathedral (19th century), Church on Spilled Blood (20th century) and have a look at canvases by Monet, Van Gogh, Picasso of the 20th century. We will also go to Yusupov Palace that is the most interesting noble palace!


Itinerary (depends on the dates you are coming to Saint Petersburg as each museum has its own day off):

Day 1. (8hrs)
10AM: meeting at the hotel
Peter and Paul Fortress (the birthplace of the city)
Catherine's Palace (with its famous Amber room)
Pavlovsk Palace (to see the daily life of the Russian Royal family)
6PM: back to the hotel

Day 2. (8hrs)
10AM: meeting at the hotel
Peterhof Palace (with its amazing park with fountains)
The Hermitage museum (Winter Palace)
6PM: back to the hotel

Day 3. (8hrs)
10AM: meeting at the hotel
Yusupov Palace (noble palace where Rasputin was murdered)
Saint Isaac's Cathedral (the main church of the Russian Empire)
General Staff Building (canvases of Picasso, Van Gogh, Matisse)
Church on Spilled Blood (the symbol of the city)
6PM: back to the hotel
