Let's explore "The Small Vienna" and the Medieval secrets around it!
Today Ruse is the biggest and most important Bulgarian city on the Danube River. Architecture from the end of 19-the and beginning of 20th century is well preserved and many call Ruse "The Small Vienna".
At present, it is a city full of life. It's my native town and I always feel passionate to show its charm to my guests! There are great places to have a perfect espresso or taste local dishes. We pay a visit to a top quality restaurant with a possibility for wine tasting. Bulgaria is famous for its wines all around the world!
Ivanovo rock monastery is just 25 km away from Ruse and is a monument under the special protection of UNESCO. It is a complex of rock-hewn churches, chapels, and cells. The place was founded by hermits in the Middle Ages and was a powerful spiritual center. It is situated in the beautiful valley of a Rusenski Lom Nature Reserve. Today we also enjoy wide panoramic views and probably many birds songs.
I am available to customize the tour according to travelers' requests!
