But that's only one part of it. Come and get to know this Hanseatic City - you won't regret it!
I am a passionate traveler myself and so I made my hobby into my job and became a travel agent. I have worked for a Japanese tour operator and for two big cruise ship companies before I started my own travel agency four years ago.
I grew up in Wiesbaden (close to Frankfurt) in West Germany. So Rostock - former East Germany - and its surroundings were like an unknown country for me when I moved here over 10 years ago.
I'm so glad that the reunification made it possible and I'm still fascinated by the Hanseatic cities and the nature!
Let me show you the amazing mixture of 800 years of history in the Hanseatic city of Rostock, the beautiful landscape of Mecklenburg and the many little treasures along the way.
I love being outside and my hobbies include sailing, skiing, ice skating and hiking. But winters here are dark and cold and so there is time to read, knit and have a nice cup of tea.
Rostock has the perfect size for a walking tour. It gives you time to see things along the way, take a picture or just stop to enjoy a good view. That's one of the reasons that I planned the tours mainly as walking tours. For the longer distances we will use local trains, trams and busses.
But I can also arrange a mini van if you would like to minimize the walking or get out into the countryside.
I will be happy to make sure that you have a wonderful experience and am glad to change any of my tour suggestions according to your wishes.
See you soon in Rostock!
