Marta P.

Roma, Italy

Buongiorno! My name is Marta and I am a medieval art historian and archaeology enthusiast, from Terracina, a seaside archaeological excavation site near Rome.

Growing up near the ruins, with a teacher for a mom, and traveling a lot meant that my becoming a tour guide was my destiny.

What makes my tours great is the fact that I adapt my presentation style according to my guests; I take care to actively involve them as part of the experience, to the degree with which they are comfortable!
My greatest pleasure is seeing my guests actually enjoy their tours, so my keyword is 'leisure. '

As all roads lead to Rome I will be here waiting for you!!!

A Recent Review of this guide

Marta was extremely knowledgable in Roman history, architecture and art history. She gave us great information, we saw alot in 7 hrs and she was able to get us into a few extra places in the Vatican! We learned so much even though I had been in Rome before. She brought along a book that had overlays of the ancient ruins with the way those ruins looked in Ancient times. It really added to being able to visualize what we were seeing. We HIGHLY recommend Marta as a tour guide! She was great. Thanks!!!
