This tour is perfect for you if you love nature, picturesque villages with local people, old farms and chateaux, norman scenery, cider and calvados tasting, relaxing time in a beautiful landscape. Less touristy than the other tours, less busy, a true Normandy far from the war.
Departure for this tour from your hotel in Bayeux or Caen to the Cider road, Beuvron en Auge( one of the most flowered villages in Normandy) chateau de Saint Germain de Livet, a jewel of the 16th century, the chateau de Crevecoeur, Le Breuil en Auge where they make the famous apple brandy: the calvados , the village of Beaumont en Auge

Duration: 8 hours
Perfect tour for the end of spring, summer and fall. In case the weather is really bad, we can focus on tastings and a visit of a little chateau; but nature is always beautifull and the flowers and the green meadows will help you to forget the rain.
We'll use our comfortable airconditioned mazda car which can accomodate 4 passengers
GUIDING AND MY HUSBAND DRIVING OUR OWN CAR WHICH CAN ACCOMMODATE 4 passengers for the whole tour from the place you choose to be picked up to the place where you want to be dropped. If you want another car for more people I can hire one. Of course the price will be higher depending on the model of the car.

I don't drive when I guide but my husband is the professional driver and we have Mazda car which accomodate 4 passengers and both of us. Or you may hire your own car.

Marianne was a terrific guide. This tour of the small villages she put together was most interesting and unique. We visited small villages mostly overlooked by the larger bus tours. She was also most helpful to my handicapped wife. She knew all the places my wife could and could not go and adjusted the tour to meet those needs
