Full Day Private Tour for up to 3 people
We will spend 8 hours in Rocky Mountain National Park and in Estes Park, if you desire. This can be a early or later morning start tour, keeping in mind the seasons and availability of daylight.
Stop spots can include, but are not limited to:
Fall River Road - (open seasonally only)
Trail Ridge Road - (open seasonally only)
Any hiking is easy to moderate but will likely include uphill and walking on large rocks/boulders. Wear appropriate shoes/boots and dressing in layers is recommended. Bring a water bottle also, even in the winter months. Cameras are encouraged and if you have them, a wide angle lens and a tripod! If not, you will still be able to get some great shots!
If you're interested in Estes Park, we can go through the shopping district to some unique shops that include blown glass, clothing, local artisan jewelry and other distinct artwork. As well as, the renowned Stanley Hotel!
*Pets are not allowed on trails in RMNP.
Tours will start by meeting in Estes Park. From there I will handle the transportation and we will head straight into Rocky Mountain National Park. Going by Sheep Meadow, taking a short stop and hike to the Alluvial Fan, (in the summer the drive can to over Fall River Road to Trail Ridge Road with some side hikes along the way) then a nice drive through the park, seeing different mountain peaks.
On to Bear Lake where we will take a longer, beautiful drive, stopping along the way at Sprague Lake and then onto Bear Lake where you can see Hallet Peak and stopping at Alberta Falls on the way back down to the main park road.
If time permits, we may be able to stop in Estes Park and see some of the attractions there as well.
Meeting Point + Tour Duration

End Point Options: Hotel
Duration: 8 hours
Unexpected weather can develop in the mountains causing us to leave Rocky Mountain National Park though time can still be spent in Estes Park.
Transportation provided, walking and some hiking will be needed. In the summer, high tourist season, a free shuttle bus may be needed to access certain parts of the park due to full parking lots inside the park. This may curtail extended plans for the visit due to shuttle scheduling.
Estimated Local Cash Needed
25 USD - We will stop for lunch in or near Estes Park. The only extra charge is your meal which you will pay for yourself.
Certain tours are seasonal only due to closed mountain roads.
Pets may not be welcome as they are not allowed on trails inside many park areas.
I can accommodate up to 3 adults comfortably in my vehicle. Larger parties, please inquire.

We did a long tour with Rachel. She picked us up in Denver, had us at the park for sunrise, spent the entire day with us, and dropped us off after sunset. She is very friendly, very funny and she really knows her stuff. She was energetic and completely flexible in terms of making sure we spent as much or as little time as we desired. This was our first, but definitely not last, tour with this company. Really well done.
