I am guiding tours to the Maya ruins, like Chichen Itza or Tulum and Coba, but also tours into the jungle and out of the way places, like Mexican towns, Mayan villages, underground cave systems and Cenotes, either where no other tour groups are going or at times before the crowds get there.
My clients say I'm very professional and knowledgeable, but also fun, welcoming and caring for the details, they also say my tours are very well planned and very interesting.
Since my first day in Mexico, I am in love with the country and its people, both the Mexicans and the Maya. The Mayan history is quite fascinating and I love sharing it with my guests.
I've SPECIALIZED IN PRIVATE TOURS for couples, families and small groups, I love having different people from different countries every day around me and I have learned to be personable and adaptable, this is why I've received many thank you letters, many clients have referred me to other people and some even have become friends.
I've learned a lot from the Mayan's about flora and fauna and the medical use of plants. Since I love being in the jungle, I've organized several tours where I can show my clients the plants, the animals and the Mayans in their natural habitat.

Volker gave us a wonderful tour of Tulum. We loved all he shared with us about the Mayan culture as well as the information about the ruins and how the city would have functioned. If you arrive via a cruise to Cozumel, please be sure to understand that the time is likely different than ship time and that the ferry to Playa del Carmen only departs on the hour. Unfortunately, Volker had to wait for us for a while even though we did our best to be prompt. The day was still awesome and we learned a lot.
