Through the Green Ocean Road

You can visit some of the most beautiful beaches and islands in Brazil in a 3 days trip through the ocean road that connects Sao Paulo to Rio de janeiro.
This trip can be started in Sao Paulo, going to Rio de Janeiro, or also the other way around.
The beach places located between Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro States are full of beautiful landscapes, surrounded by the Atlantic Rainforest, small beaches and lots of islands.
That trip includes destinations like Paraty, an old colonial town built by the Portuguese explorers in the 16th century. It's a very picturesque place with rustic paving stone streets, old colonial churchs and houses, that became restaurants, hotels and shops. And Ubatuba city is also included, with its very preserved rainforest on the beaches, waterfalls and beautifull views.
A general overview of Rio de Janeiro city visiting the most famous attractions like the Crist Statue on the top of the mountain, and the cabble car (Suggar Loaf), and other attractions, is also included in this trip.

I pick you up at the airport or hotel in Sao Paulo. Then we will drive across the Rainforest State park of "Serra do Mar" towards Ubatuba.
In Ubatuba we will visit some of the most beautiful and preserved beaches and landscapes of Brazil, driving north direction until the boarder of SP and Rio States, located near Paraty city.
Paraty is a very old colonial town built during the gold extration period by the Portuguese explorers, that has a beautiful night-life with many restaurants, shops and bars.
On the next day we will take a day boat tour into Paraty Bay, visiting different green slands and wild beaches. Snorkeling and lunch at the boat is available.
After that we start driving to Rio de Janeiro city, still enjoying the beautiful landscape of Rio-Santos Road. Then we reach the hotel in Rio on the evening.
Next day we will visit the best and most famous attractions of Rio de Janeiro in a 6 hours citytour, including Copacabana and Ipanema beaches, Suggar Loaf (Pao-de-açucar), Corcovado (Crist Mountain), etc

A Recent Review of this tour

This is great for business travelers who don't have a lot of time. Denis met us in São Paulo and flew with us to Rio for the day. There was a van and driver waiting for us that escorted us the whole time. We saw all the major highlights of the city - Cristo, sugar Loaf, Copacabana and the future museum to name just a few. Denis catered to our time and interests. He was informative and fun! We flew back to São Paulo the same day to begin the work week. Short but worth it!
