I am a certified professional guide and I provide private, tailor made tours in Latvia.
The driving force behind my work is the joy and pleasant surprise I see in my guests when they come to my hometown Riga and travel around Latvia. They are surprised by the splendid nature, the trees and the flowers everywhere they go.
Riga is a vibrant city. It is a place where you can enjoy architecture and culture, meet the locals and try Latvian cuisine. We will visit Old Town Riga, green boulevards and parks, the Art Nouveau district, Riga's Central Market and much more.
Outside the capital, combined walking and driving tours to discover in-depth stories about Riga, Jurmala, Sigulda, Kuldiga, Rundale Palace and more.
If you are interested in Jewish heritage in Riga, ghost towns or Soviet era relics, I may know just the place.
I am passionate about history, culture, architecture, the seaside and food. When not working, I enjoy travelling and going to music concerts.
I look forward to welcoming you in Riga and perhaps I can make this place your favourite city too!
A Recent Review of this guide
Very pleasant tour of Riga with Agrita. We had discussed the tour prior to coming and Agrita planned accordingly. Started the day in a local baker then toured the city with breaks along the way. We had asked to plan a coffee break and had the opportunity to taste local cakes in a boutique café. We focussed on the old town and learned a lot about culture, geography, history, economy etc .. which made the tour of the old streets, Art nouveau museum, St Peter's church and the market all the more interesting.
