Enjoy Reykjavik from the saddle of a bicycle - there is no way better to see the city
Travelling by bike is the very best way to see Reykjavik.
On this 2-3 hour bike ride you'll take in some of the most important sights in the city - more importantly some of the secret places too.
One popular route covers a distance of 7 km (4. 5 miles), mostly on flat terrain. My guests tell me it is easy.
The route, time and difficulty can be adjusted in distance and time to suit your wishes.
Quality Trek 21 gear aluminium bicycles in every size. I have a few electric bikes (additonal charge applies), tandem, children's bicycles as well, trailers and connecting bikes etc.
I look forward to show you my city from the bike saddle!
This 2. 5 hour bicycle tour of Reykjavik takes you to University of Iceland campus, Nordic House, Decode Genetics HQ, Ægisida Reykjavik's south facing beach, Reykjavik's Catholic Cathedral and City Center.
We also pass homes of some of Iceland's most famous inhabitants.
Depending on time, weather and participant's interest, it might be possible to include Grotta lighthouse and/or Nautholsvik geothermal beach (Iceland's version of the French Riviera).
This tour can of course be modified according to your wishes and ability of the riders.

Stefan Helgi gave my wife, son and me a great bicycle tour of the city. His command of American English is outstandingly good, and we appreciated that he took note of our interests, responded knowledgeably to every one of them, and did not waste time taking us to the obvious sites that we could easily find on our own. He also gave us some very important tips for a few places elsewhere in Iceland (near Vik, for example) that we visited later in our trip and were very glad we did!
