I have been a professional tour guide in Iceland since 2008.
I love to travel, especially in my own beautiful country and to make sure visitors get the most out of their visit.
When I was little I traveled around Iceland with my family and loved every minute of it, my grandfather told me tales of trolls, elves and the hidden people that lived in the rocks as we drove through adventurous landscape I felt like I was a part of the stories and found it easy to imagine the characters living in the moss covered lava fields, crystal clear lakes, majestic mountains, ice caves, volcanic craters, vast black sand deserts or just little farm houses.
I have a background in music, theater, films and TV. I've played in Icelandic bands over the years, acted in musical productions, hosted TV-shows, worked and taken on many roles at movie sets ranging from acting to sound engineering and, of course, scouting for amazing film locations in Iceland ☺.
In order to get to these locations we no longer use horses but comfy cars and/or buses. For regular tours I use a Cadillac Escalade for 6 passengers plus luggage. For bigger groups I have a 17 seat bus(Mercedes Benz Sprinter). For off-road mountain tracks I have a 4x4 "Nissan Patrol" on 38 inch tires with seats for 4 passengers plus luggage.
All the tours are private tours, no mixed groups.
Private guided tours, guided family friendly tours, business trips that are actually fun or whatever kind of professional travel service you're looking for, I can help.
All the best

We loved spending the day with Villi! Two families traveled to Iceland for a long weekend with 6 children between us ages 10 to 15. Villi kept all 10 of us entertained with fun facts along our route, interesting history lessons, jokes for all ages, and even an Icelandic lullaby at one point. We managed to ride horses, visit all of the Golden Circle sites, eat a delicious meal at a magical greenhouse and see the northern lights all in one day! When we return we will call Villi!
