Discover Old Quebec, the Isle of Orleans and the Montmorency Falls
This tour will bring you to all of the main attractions in Quebec City and the surroundings. You will get the opportunity to experience the authenticity of the region through wonderful sceneries, sampling of local products and more.
The journey will start in Old Quebec where you will get the chance to discover the 400-year-old architecture and the charming commercial streets of the cradle of the French civilization in North America. A gentle walk through the Petit-Champlain district will make you fall in love with the culture of this UNESCO World Heritage site.
You will then be taken to the countryside for a visit of the Montmorency Falls, 1. 5 times taller than the Niagara Falls, where you will enjoy a scenic view of the St-Lawrence River and the Isle of Orleans.
Later, you will spend the rest of the day on the Isle of Orleans which was also called Bacchus by Jacques Cartier on his first voyage. Its rich soil has brought the first French families to settle here 350 years ago.
This tour is mostly done by car, stepping on and off so you can enjoy the breathtaking sceneries and take pictures as much as you want. However, Place Royale, the oldest district of Quebec City and most charming, is very difficult to visit by car. I usually park very close so we can walk together for a 30-minute visit of the area. Then, the only walking that might be added to the tour is the walk at the waterfall for the suspended bridge! Some may want to enter the Manor for more souvenirs.
Our day shall unfold like this:
First 2-3 hours for a visit of Old Quebec (walled city),
The National Assembly and Parliament hill, The Battlefields Park or Plains of Abraham , Notre-Dame-de-Québec Basilica and City Hall place
Place Royale (mostly by foot-gentle walk involved)
Lunch around 1pm on the island or downtown
During the afternoon, driving and sampling on the Isle of Orleans such as hard cider, ice wine, mapple products and more!
The Montmorency Falls for the last hour of the tour.

Djany was incredible. Our day with Djany in Quebec City was our highlight of a 15 day trip to New England and Canada. Not only is she professional, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic; but also, Djany's love for her city and desire to please us was very evident. If you have the opportunity to use her services, you will be very happy. I earnestly recommend her.
