I spent much of my childhood in Punta. In fact my grandfather was the owner of one of the first houses built in "La punta" in front of the "Candelaria" church. So, naturally I always dreamt of moving here one day. I have been living in "La Barra", a little town just a 10 minute drive away from Punta, since 2011.
I have a degree in Interior Design and own an event planning business.
I collaborated in the design of an interpretive eco-cultural trail located on Gorriti Island which allowed me to learn about Punta's history and present touristic development. This experience had me working shoulder
to shoulder with the most renowned archeologists and historians of the area, something that made me grow and deepen my knowledge about this territory.
This was a strengthening experience and a few years ago I started to give English speaking walking tours in the high season to take advantage of all the information acquired, and also adding my knowledge about architecture and design.
I love to share my love for the city with others. My hobby is to discover the best places in the city in order to offer them during the tours.
My goal and proposal is to show you my city, Punta, from a different perspective rather than the typical tour. Of course, the highlights should be visited. That's why they are so popular and breathtaking but also, if you let me, I want to introduce you to the real daily life of Punta locals, how we think, how we socialize and, last but not least, what we eat and drink.
All my tours can be customized to your pace and interests. If you have questions or suggestions, please do get in touch with me.
I look forward to welcoming you to Punta del Este and showing you around!
