Karst region caves and lunch at Lago Dos Bocas restaurants
We visit Cueva Ventana and Cueva del Indio in Arecibo. Then we get on a boat ride through the Lago Dos Bocas water reservoir in Utuado to go eat at their famous lake side puertorrican restaurants.
This is a beautiful drive up the northern part of Puerto Rico's Karst Region forest all the way to the mountains in the center of th island.
The karst forest is home to puerto rico's most stunning natural wonders, it's caverns and caves. Filled with geological formations like stalagmites and stalagtites and indiginous Taino petroglyphs and pictographs. And it's amazing fauna all the way from colorful birds to cave dwelling bats, boas and other creepy crawlers!
