Located to the south of Puerto Vallarta is the beautiful beach of Las Animas. There is no road leading to this remote location. The primary access is by panga (water taxi). We will drive south from Vallarta to the fishing village of Boca de Tomatlan where we will board a water taxi for Las Animas. It's about a 30 minute boat ride to the beautiful beach. When we arrive at Las Animas, you can take a stroll down the beach or enjoy the sights from a table at one of the beach front restaurant. We will spend a couple of hours at Las Animas before returning to Boca de Tomatlan. Expect another hour or so exploring this quaint fishing village before heading north to the artisan tequila factory in Mismaloya. If time allows, we will stop at Los Arcos marine preserve for some beautiful pictures and shopping at the roadside tiendas.
