Petersburg, the capital of the Russian Empire. My name is Ekaterina and I graduated from Moscow State Pedagogical University. I am an experienced guide, and have been working between Moscow and St. Petersburg for 7 years.
My motto is - «try to do your best to make your guests happy». To be a tour guide is not just a job for me, but it's my real passion!
I was born in Moscow in 1983, but nowadays I live in St. Petesburg where I met my love. I have got a beautiful love story of how I moved to Saint-Petersburg from Moscow. By the way I really prefer to share my own life experience, the life of my grandparents who lived through the Soviet period and remember Josef Stalin regime very well. I prefer to be informal in my excursions, having conversation to my guests rather than being boring like an audio guide.
After additional graduation I got certificate from the Saint-Petersburg association of Professional Guides and Interpreters and have been guiding around St. Petersburg for 7 years.
What is Saint-Petersburg famous for? First of all it is associated with a number of prominent figures of Russian culture and history. As I usually tell to my guests: Our History is a criminal novel, or better to say a detective story.
I can provide standard tours and unique tours which will help you to understand Russians, our soul and feel the real Russian hospitality. I may also arrange different thematic classes like: cooking class, local tour, bar tour, family tour, VIP tours and so on. As a transport, I can rent any vehicle of any size required by my guests.
A famous citizen of Saint-Petersburg Fedor Dostoevsky once wrote: «The beauty will save the world ». When you are in Saint-Petersburg you may actually see and feel this beauty. Undoubtedly, everybody will find something special in my city to remember forever.
I am looking forward meeting you in the most European Russian City, City of History, Art and Beauty!
