Walking Tour + Uffizi and Accademia
How about optimizing your visit to Florence with a tour of the city and visit of the two of the main Museums? If you have little time in Florence but still wants to be guided thorugh the city and it's main Museums this is the tour for you!
In the morning we will start visiting the Galleria dell'Accademia - Museum of the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence. In it are several sculptures by Michelangelo, among them the famous David, the original. This is a must visit for those who enjoy art. Then we'll have a pleasant walk on foot discovering the stories and the main monuments of the city. We'll do a lunch break and in the afternoon we will visit the wonderful Galleria degli Uffizi, which is considered the most important museum of Florence and one of the most important museums in Europe. A visit to the Galleria degli Uffizi is equivalent to a History of Art class!

We will meet in the morning at your Hotel if in the historical city center otherwise in front of Galleria dell'Accademia.
We will start visiting Accademia and then our walking tour through the main monuments of the city:
Signoria Square - the open air museum with its fantastic statues, the Duomo complex, Repubblica square, Ponte Vecchio - the oldest bridge in Florence, Pitti Palace - the last home of the Medici family
In the afternoon:
Guided visit to the Uffizi Gallery
*This Tour can't take place on Mondays as the Uffizi and Accademia Museums are closed and the first Sunday of every month as entrances are free and reservations are not allowed. This means very long waiting lines ( hours).

My wife and I had limited time to see Florence and Paula was able to make sure we got to see all the important sites. We didn't need to wait in line at Uffizi gallery or to see David at Accademia. She was also very knowledgeable about local restaurants and other things to do in the area. I would highly recommend her.
