I was born and brought up in Hiroshima. I lived in Kyoto and Takamatsu for a few years and have been living in Tokyo for over 20 years. I had an opportunity to study at a college in America for a year, and after graduating from university in Japan, I was lucky to work for a company specializing in study-abroad programs where I had many chances to go to America, Canada, and Australia to look after students. It was always fun to get to know different places and meet new people. I like traveling.
From the experience abroad, I came to think that I want to know Japan more, because when I was in Japan, I usually took many Japanese-culture-related things for granted and did not even think about them deeply, but often these things are what people abroad are curious about and interested in. That is why I took the national guide exam and became a tour guide.
I like visiting historic places, gardens, and museums. I also like strolling fashionable and trendy areas. I can always find something new and interesting. I would like to share my experience and knowledge with you. It is a great honor and pleasure to be part of your trip.
Tokyo is such a huge and unique place where you can see a completely different atmosphere within the city. Hustle and bustle of the city and calm and peaceful greenery, and high-rise modern buildings and old traditional areas. With a little bit of knowledge behind it, you will find this metropolis more fascinating. I would like to make your trip very special and memorable.
I am looking forward to meeting you!
