Rainbow Falls, Akaka Falls, Waipio Valley Overlook
This tour is filled with many wonderful sights and sound of the beautiful island of Hawaii (Big Island).
Rainbow Falls is an impressive place to visit based on the amount of rainfall we receive. Just a mile upstream is the Boiling Pots and Waiale Falls that offers views that are spectacular.
We'll take a beautiful drive down the 4-mile scenic route along the coast and thru tropical rainforest. Akaka Falls is an amazing place where you can take a short walk along a paved pathway to see one of the most beautiful falls in all of Hawaii.
Waipio Valley is about an hour further up the Hamakua Coast with spectacular views. We will walk down to the area where we can view the amazing Waipio Valley below.
Let me show you the beauty of the Big Island of Hawaii!

Meeting location: We will begin the tour on the Hilo (east side) of Hawaii Island. This includes the Port of Hilo for cruise ship shore excursions, hotels and B&Bs.
End location: We end the tour at the same location we began the tour.
Duration: 5 hours
The duration of this tour is an estimate and can change based on the length of time we spend at each stop. Remember, this is YOUR tour and it is my goal to give you an experience of a lifetime.
4-door, Air Conditioned, 2016 Ford F-150 4WD, which has tons of room for up to four full sized guests. This truck has been modified for off-road use with a higher step up than usual.
Bottled water, guiding service and transportation to some spectacular sights.
Estimated Local Cash Needed
10 USD - per person for snacks, drinks, etc.
I usually do not include a dedicated lunch stop on the tour because it takes so much time away from seeing other sights. If this is something you desire, we certainly can stop for lunch. Lunch can cost anywhere between $10 and $20 per person, depending on where we go. I do provide water and granola bars.
You are more than welcome to bring sandwiches and other snacks with you.
