Discovering Local Traditions
Your adventure to discover the real heart of Rome will start in the famous flower market of Campo de' Fiori. From there we will head to the historic Jewish Ghetto and will be captivated by the unique atmosphere of this beautiful and picturesque part of Rome. During our tour of the Jewish Ghetto we will see the Sinagoga (Synagogue) from the outside, an architectural masterpiece, and visit the famous Fountain of the Turtles.
We'll then cross the bridge to the other side of the Tiber River and marvel at the beauty of the Tiber Island, a place full of charm and mystery. The tour ends in Trastevere with its little cobblestone streets, its charming fountains and beautiful churches, including Santa Maria in Trastevere.

We did this tour with our sons, 14 and 10. 3 hours can be a long time for that age, but Marta did a great job keeping us all engaged and interested! She covered a lot of territory on a organized route and we were able to take some great photos. Her English was great! Bonus was she also recommended some fabulous spots to eat. One place we went to twice as it was so good. Highly recommend Marta and we look forward to visiting Rome again!
