A celebration of Cornwall's Western most peninsular
Where Cornwall's ancient granite cliffs meet the unforgiving yet beautiful majesty of the Atlantic Ocean. Discover a landscape dotted with mining engine houses from Cornwall's mining past. This tour captures the very essence of Cornwall with visits to coves and clifftops, sparkling blue Atlantic waters and beaches with crashing waves.
Choose from iconic locations such as St Michael's Mount, Marazion, Penzance, Mousehole, Porthcurno, Minack Theatre, Land's End and St Ives. Visiting all of these would not be possible within one day so I invite you to let me know beforehand which you would like to prioritise.
This far western part of Cornwall offers some of the most spectacular views, perfect for photo stops. References to Poldark, the tin mining UNESCO World Heritage status, and many other aspects of this spectacular area will help shape your day.
I have put together this tour with the help of my uncle who has lived in this part of Cornwall for over 75 years, so it is truly delivered from the heart.
The itinerary will depend on your individual choices. I will collect you after your breakfast, and head off on your tailor made day. Here is more information about some of the places that we can visit:
St. Michael's Mount - an iconic place to visit, this beautiful island can be reached either by the ancient slipway, or by boat, depending upon the tide. Wander around the harbour, then up to the castle on top.
Mousehole - a beautiful old fishing village, with a medieval harbour, twisting lanes, and pretty cottages
The Minack Theatre - built on the clifftops by Rowena Cade with the help of her gardener, there is surely no more dramatically situated theatre in the World
Land's End - a beautiful viewpoint at the UK's most South Westerly point
Tin mines - such is the importance of Cornwall's tin mining heritage, it has become a UNESCO World heritage site (and inspired Poldark too!)
St. Ives - this prettiest of towns is home to gorgeous sandy beaches, numerous wonderful shops and a thriving art scene

We had a great experience in Cornwall with Neil. He made the most of our short visit to Cornwall. We did everything planned and he added additional sites as well. He selected the best location for Cornish pasty's and Cornish clotted cream. A give Neil a 10+++
