I have been working as a tour guide for nearly two decades. Over the years that I have been in this profession I have learnt not only how dedicated I am to my job but also how passionate I am to share all of the fascinating and interesting things from my country with travellers like you.
It will be simply wonderful to welcome you to Myanmar and have a chance to show you around and to help you discover its charm.
Having worked for several years in this industry, I have guided travellers not only here in Yangon but also to most of the attractions in Myanmar. From a tour leader on trekking tours in the mountains to a cruise and program director river cruises on the Irrawaddy River for large international companies there are not many places in Myanmar that I haven't experienced. I like to show my travellers not only the cultural sites but also the local way of the Burmese people, such as visiting traditional family homes, allowing them to discover all aspects of travelling throughout this beautiful city.
I would describe myself as talkative, friendly, enthusiastic, and accommodating with a good sense of humour. I myself love travelling and that is why I also enjoy exploring the world and making long-lasting memories. I am always willing to share not only the beauty but also the reality (good or bad) of the country to my travellers. I am confident to say that you will enjoy having me as your guide in Myanmar. Because my motto is that "I want to see you smile, your smile is my happiness and your satisfaction is my goal".
I look forward to meeting you and showing you around Myanmar!
A Recent Review of this guide
We had a great day with Tom! We appreciated his command of the English language. He taught us about Buddhism with clarity and showed us the highlights of Yangon (Rangoon). We gave him a 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ rating.
I am a professional licensed tour guide.
In Myanmar, tour guides are not allowed to drive a car and to conduct a running commentary at the same time.
