Hi, I'm Kumi. I'm a licensed tour guide with a super happy smile! When you see me for the first time on the day of your tour, you will probably recognize me immediately by my big smile.
As a member of the Japan Federation of Certified Guides (JFG), I stay up to date with the latest information about the best sightseeing attractions in and around Tokyo and share information with other guides.
By the way, I have a quiz for you.
Q. If you need a tour guide and a photographer, how many professionals do you need?
A. With Kumi, you only need one!
I studied photography at the International Center of Photography in New York. My photos have been used in the program for the Tokyo production of the Broadway musical "West Side Story, " as well as on various CD covers and concert fliers.
During the escorted tour, I will capture all your delightful moments, and send you the JPEG photos after the tour. You may also order a compact photo book (4 x 6 postcard size). If you're interested in photography, I would be happy to share some tips as well.
I have another question. Do you like summer? Me? No, I don't. I am someone like a penguin and prefer cold weather. So I made some tours for summer in which you don't walk much outside. If you don't like summer just like me, please check out this "A summer version of 1st-time Tokyo" tour.
My regular tours will be available from September. Please contact me for the detail.
I'm looking forward to having a blissful time with you!

A Recent Review of this guide
Traveling with Kumi was a delight - just like traveling with a friend. She met us at the pier from our cruise. We went to a small ramen restaurant which was amazing, then traveled to different neighborhoods in Tokyo using the subway. She managed to cram all of our requests into one day, was very knowledgeable, and also was fun to hang out with. Her ability as a photographer, giving us free pics of us during our travels, made it extra special and less stressful for us. Thanks Kumi for perfect day in Tokyo!
