Starting at the Mobile River where the first bananas arrived to where Moon Pies are thrown at Mardi Gras We will relive history
Mobile is packed with rich history beginning 1702 to present day. The first banana's in America came though our port on the famous Banana Boats. Strolling down Dauphin St. we will be treated to well restored buildings that will share their story's. The Parks here were planted with oaks over 150 years ago to create green space for the city, and now gives us a chance to stop and play with the squirrels.
To finish our time here we will go to the top of the TrustMark building to enjoy the sweeping vistas of the Delta. A yummy treat awaits us there as well. If we are lucky we might just get to meet the Azalea Trail Maids.

A wonderful insiders look at old Mobile and an intro to Mardi Gras. Our time with Sharon was like spending time with someone we've known all our lives. I am sure we saw places you won't get on any other tour. Next time we go to Mobile we will be sure to have Sharon show us more. We debated on doing a self guided tour on a trolley. Glad we chose to do the tour with Sharon instead. A fantastic lady. Thank you Sharon.
