Discover the beautiful countryside of Normandy, its history and charming villages with a private guide and a driver.
In this tour I suggest you to discover the Vexin in Normandy. A region rich in history and breathtaking landscapes.
The romanticism of this countryside inspired many artists such as Claude Monet. We will go into the intimacy of the master of impressionism and you will fall in love with this region like he did.
You'll also learn about the Viking and medieval origins of Normandy as we will get to see some of its mighty castles.
If you like beautiful villages and old stones this tour is for you !
We will leave Paris early in the morning to arrive to Giverny around 9:30 am, the opening hour of Claude Monet's House and gardens so we'll be there before it gets too crowded.
After the visit (approximatively 2 hours) we will visit the village where the master of impressionism lived and its main sites.
After that the day will be punctuated by the visit of the most beautiful sites of the area. Mighty castles, charming villages, a fairy water mill, stunning landscapes. . .
Food is important too! For lunch I suggest a traditional "crêpes" lunch or even a pic nic if you prefer and in the afternoon we can pay a visit to the finest chocolate and ice cream maker of the region.
We will be back in Paris at 6 pm.
