Malta's 7000 Years of History brought to Life in 8 hours
This excursion takes you from the year 3600 BC to the arrival of the Knights of St. John in 1530. You will have the opportunity to visit one of the oldest free-standing temple site in the world, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The temples predate the Pyramids of Egypt and Stonehenge in England.
One of the marvels of this area is the crystal-clear sea and the surrounding nature caves. A boat trip to the Blue Grotto is a must.
After lunch at Marsaxlokk, the Fishermen's Village, we shall head towards the north and stop at Rabat and Mdina.
Mdina has been inhabited since the Bronze Age People living in Malta around 2500 BC. We will talk about all the colonisers who dominated Malta for its strategic position in the Mediterranean.
This Old City fell to ruins but thanks to the efforts of Grand Master de Vilhena it was given a facelift in the early 18th century.

Benjamin's knowledge of Malta's history is extraordinary. We spent eight hours touring several historic sights with him, from one end of the island to the other. Benjamin brought the past to life with lively, engaging commentary. He went out of his way to make sure we truly got a feel for Malta, both present and past. Look no further for the perfect Malta tour guide.
