A Private Insider's Tour of September 11
On this walking tour, I'll take you on a New Yorker's journey through 9/11. We'll visit sites that played a key role in the tragedy, including the church that became the centre of rescue efforts, site of the first 9/11 memorial, physical remnants of the original World Trade Center and, of course, the moving September 11 Memorial.
As we explore, I'll share information that gives context to the events of 9/11. You'll hear about other terror attacks on Lower Manhattan (before and since 9/11), the creation of the original World Trade Center, and the 1993 bombing of the North Tower that held the seeds of 9/11. We'll also marvel at the extraordinary architecture of the new World Trade Center, while I explain its design and symbolism.
Join me on a personal journey through the tragedy and triumphs of 9/11.
