Visit the most famous cemetery in the world!

Père Lachaise is the largest cemetery of Paris and it's also the largest green space of the city, on a hill with beautiful views! With more than 5000 trees, herbs, plants etc. its a wonderful way to escape the busy city.

We will travel around the world of famous musicians, painters, politicians, philosophers and writers:
Jim Morrison, Fréderic Chopin, Edith Piaf, Allan Kardec, Molière, Delacroix, Géricault, Marcel Proust, Oscar Wilde, Honoré de Balzac and Héloise & Abélard.

And that's not all! There's interesting monuments like WWI and also grave art and architecture:) And there's plenty of anecdotes to discover!

A Recent Review of this tour

Susanne was very punctual and cordial! She knew her way around the Metro system. At the cemetery she had a well thought out lesson plan with maps, props and photos. The cemetery was vast and by far the largest we have visited. If you want a very educational yet entertaining tour - especially you Jim Morrison fans, this is it. I would plan on at lease three hours were we to do it again. This is outstanding!
