Old Town Split Tour
I would like to welcome you to my hometown, Split!
A lot can be said about Split. Sportiest city in the world, most beautiful city in the world, a city in which "fjaka" was invented (psychophysical state of mind when there is an aspiration for nothing and to do nothing), and so on and so on. However, one thing is for sure, Split is one of the most unique cities in the world because its heart lies within a 1700-year-old Roman palace and nothing you've heard or read before coming can fully prepare you for what you will find and explore here.
Together we will walk through many small hidden streets and corners while soaking in the atmosphere of a Roman age masterpiece.
During this walking tour around the Palace, you will see the major sights: Golden, Iron and Brass gates, Peristyle and Vestibule, Mausoleum and today's Cathedral of St. Domnius and many others. Along the way, I will share the story about emperor Diocletian who built his palace here and made a foundation for a city to rise from it.
We will visit :
Golden, Iron and Brass gate
Cathedral of St Domnius
Peristyle and Vestibul
The famous big statue of Gregory of Nin. . . and many more along the way!

Our tour with Kristina was outstanding! We had limited time in Split but she made us fall in love with it in a very short time. She is very enthusiastic about history, culture and heritage of her city. Also what we really enjoyed was her passion about the local, everyday life in Split. We got some valuable insights about gastronomy of the region and must-try-dishes while in the area. I would highly recommend her to anyone visiting Split!
