Visit Lompoul Desert with a knowledgeable guide
We will drive first towards the Pink Lake, crossing the surburbs with their bush taxis station and typical local markets. Upon our arrival, we' ll first go to see the salt seekers, the « mountain » of salt. Then you'll be given the opportunity to swim and float in the lake. Lunch in a nice restaurant that used to welcome the rally Paris-Dakar. Then after, we'll go for one the country's most beautiful site. On the way , you'll be pleasantly surprised by the sublime beauty of the Wolof and Peul villages, but also by that of such magnificent vegetation: the African Savannah. You'll also see the Peuls, cattle breeders, leading their huge herds of local cows to graze. Once at Lompoul village, we'll take a Jeep truck for our transfer to the desert. Once in the desert with the oranges sand dunes, you'll be installed in typical and luxurious Mauritanian tents, before going for a camel riding. After dinner, around the fire, and under the stars , a local band will come to play the Djembe or local drums for you.
