From Glasgow with Private Tour and your own Local Guide.
You will take the high road going North along the West bank of Loch Lomond. This is a jaw dropping tour featuring breath taking highland scenery the whole way there and back again. Remember to bring your camera on this tour lots of amazing photo stops. Landscapes and seacapes, lochs & sea lochs, mountains & glens, nature & wildlife, castles to see and stories of bloody deeds during the Jacobite rebellions. Put simply, the best of Scotland in a panoramic fantastic day trip.
An amazing and incredible tour. Along the bonnie banks of Loch Lomond and have a rest stop here. Go West and into Argyll, by Loch Awe and drive across the Connel bridge, a nice tranquil beauty spot. To observe the falls of Lora spectacle, which does depend on the tidal timetable. Nearby is Ardchattan, a 13th Century ruined monastery, with old stone slabs of historical interest. Time now for a tasty lunch stop and rest taking in the beautiful scenery.
Then a coastal route up to Appin, of the Clan Stuart and Jacobite stronghold. Viewpoint here for island Castle Stalker. More inspiring places to impress you from Ballachulish bridge and go from the sea level taking the high road to Glencoe. Find out about the treacherous slaughter in 1692 massacre of the local Clan by order King William III of England. See classic looking Highlands at Glen Etive, red deer and golden eagles. Great stop at an old traditional pub and is like a museum of old fashioned artefacts for a wee dram whisky before we go back to Glasgow.
