Let's explore this Utopian Village; referred to as the Fruit and Nut District. This tour can be customized

A short drive though historic Malbis and EcoRouge the highest point on the Gulf Coast, will bring us to Fairhope: this village has many one of a kind shops and true southern flavor. Every season offers something fun to do, with the largest art fair in the south, to Christmas strolls and monthly art walks. Page and Pallatte book store opens it's doors to many famous southern writers.

After a bit of shopping we will go on down the road a piece to Punta Clara's Candy Shop. A magnificent Victorian home that allows visitors to come on up on the porch and set a spell. This house has been in the same family since 1896 with the sweet shop in business for over 60 years.

Then over to The Grand Hotel, just in time for high tea and the firing of the cannon. From here we can access the board walk that winds down the bay past houses built as summer homes back in the 1800's. We will finish up with a beverage and appetizer before heading home.
