Explore the hidden sites of Ireland's History - A day trip out of Dublin
If you think of archaeology as when we dig things up, history is when we write things down. Well our history then, is very young indeed. . .
And yet we know of an Ancient Ireland - one ruled by clans and their Kings and Queens. This beautiful land is drenched in tales of love and loss, glorious victory and tragic defeat. These tales have been passed down by storytellers for thousands of years, and they are still itching to be told today.
On this tour, we will explore the heart of our motherland - from the Gaelic Fortress at the Hill of Tara, to a Neolithic Tomb which predates the Egyptian pyramids, and on to a towering Norman Castle - I will combine Irelands history, mythology, art and music to give an insight into Irelands past that you won't find in the Guidebooks. You will hear the stories as our ancestors told them, and you will feel the heart of Ireland beat in your chest.
I look forward to welcoming you on tour,
