Two of the finest Royal palaces in the land with private transport and a qualified Blue Badge and Windsor accredited guide.
Windsor Castle, the largest and longest continuously used royal palace anywhere; the Queen's favourite residence and home to Monarchs for nearly 1000 years. Hampton Court, Henry VIII's sumptuous palace, built by Cardinal Wolsey and one of the finest Tudor buildings in the land. Massively extended and remodelled by Sir Christopher Wren on behalf of William III and Mary this really is a palace of two halves. A wonderful day out without having to drive long distances.
I will meet you at your hotel and drive you to Hampton Court first. We might go via Richmond Park and see the herds of deer in the ancient Royal hunting ground.
After Hampton Court, and perhaps a quick lunch on site, we will proceed to Windsor Castle for the afternoon. About a 45 minute drive.
I will drive you back to your hotel at the end of the day.
We can of course swap the timings around and do Windsor first. Generally speaking, Windsor is busier in the morning and lines can form for entry so we prefer to do it second. Certain circumstances may also point to changing the itinerary.

Mike is a top rate guide. He is EXTREMELY knowledgeable as well as flexible. He made the history "come alive" for me and, more importantly, for my 16yr old son. He is also very easy to talk to. He felt like family by the end of the day..... I would not hesitate to recommend Mike for ANY tour of London or the London environs. Have fun and enjoy!
