Full day tour to Stonehenge, Windsor Castle and return
Upon departing your hotel we will head west towards the lovely town of Windsor.
Windsor Castle has been home to royalty for more than 900 years. It is the oldest and largest occupied castle in the world.
Founded by William the Conqueror in the 11th century, it has since been the home of 39 monarchs. Today The Queen spends most of her private weekends at the Castle.
The Castle is at the top of a steep hill, and the visitor route covers long distances.
Upon departure from Windsor, we will proceed on to Stonehenge, an UNESCO World Heritage site. The stone circle has been on this site for over 4, 500 years and is one of the wonders of the world and the best-known prehistoric monument in Europe.
Once we depart Stonehenge we will return to London to your hotel or other agreed location.
Please Note: St George's Chapel is closed on Sundays as it is used for worship.

Alex was a wonderful guide all around! He was so knowledgeable about London and the Windsor and Stonehenge attractions we visited, and he shared it all so easily and answered all our many questions, including about current events, both during the rides in his clean van and at the attractions! He was the most attentive guide I've ever had, both responsive to emails and helpful with suggestions before as well as during the tour, supplying waters and soft drinks and umbrellas for the spot of rain we had!
