Inspiring Sintra away from the crowds
Do you want to go to Sintra but prefer to visit a less crowded place? This tour is for you!
Go through the mountain of Sintra to the beautiful Palace and Park of Monserrate, the place where the writer William Beckford lodged in Sintra. Modified in the 19th century, this was the summer refuge of Sir Francis Cook and his family. The Palace and garden were recently restored, and although it still has very little furniture the plaster and decorations will leave you astonished! The vegetation is luxurious with plants from all over the world. Absolutely not to be missed!
Travel towards Cabo da Roca, the westernmost point in Continental Europe, the place where the land finishes and the ocean starts.
Passage by Cascais, old fisherman village that in the 19th century became the summer destination for the Portuguese aristocracy. (If you prefer, except on weekends during summer time, instead of going to Cascais we can visit 2 less touristic beaches - Adraga and Praia das Maçãs)
Cabo da Roca
Cascais or Adraga beach and Praia das Maçãs
