Guided Shore Excursion to Bantry, Glengarriff, Kenmare, The Caha Pass and The Healy Pass
This privately guided shore excursion takes you from your cruise ship terminal in Bantry or Glengarriff to the wilds and scenically beautiful hinterland of West Cork and County Kerry. You will be collected from your cruise ship, travel through the quaint village of Glengarriff to Molly Gallivan's Cottage and Farm. This area is very much 'off the beaten path' with some great attractions and locations to visit including The Caha Pass.
You will visit the home of Molly Gallivan in Bonane who supplemented an income for her family by producing and selling poitin which was an illicit liquor similar to moonshine. We will continue towards Kenmare and take in a visit to Lorge Chocolatier which creates award winning chocolates.
We will arrive in the town of Kenmare where you can have a pub lunch and visit the local shops. Kenmare is often referred to as the best place in Ireland to retire to. We will return to your cruise ship through the iconic Healy Pass with great views of The Beara Peninsula.
