6-Hour private historical experience exploring the three most popular forts of Nassau, Bahamas.
This private historical experience will take you into three of Nassau's most popular forts, and allow you to travel back in time as we share the history of our days of Pirates, Privateers and Buccaneers - a time that coveres the period from the late 1600's until 1725.
From your pre-arranged pick up point we will travel along East Bay Street to Montagu Beach where we will visit our first fort, Fort Montagu. Next, we will travel west toward "Down Town" to visit our second fort, Fort Fincastle. Then we will continue west to our third fort, Fort Charlotte. Following our fort exploration, we will go across the street to Arawak Cay and Long Warf for a scrumptious native lunch and relaxing beach experience. With a day full of adventure, heads full of knowledge, stomachs full of native cuisine, and new friends for life, it will then be time to make our way to the drop off point where we say "so long" until your next visit. :-)
NB: Since the route for this tour is within the city area, if time permits a sightseeing drive through a nearby "over the hill" native village can be included at no extra cost.
