The Royal Tour not to be missed by followers of The British Monarchy
London is steeped in Royal history having been a seat of power in England since the Romans developed it as a Trading port nearly 2000 years ago.
Since the arrival of William the Conqueror in 1066, London has been the centre of government and I will take you on a tour showing you all the remaining palaces and the sites of a few that no longer stand.
Queen Elizabeth II is the longest reigning monarch in our history and still very active to this day. We will include her State home of Buckingham Palace, the official Royal Palace of St James', Clarence House home to Prince Charles and Camilla, Westminster Abbey, The Palace of Westminster and the Tower of London. We will also visit the sites of Whitehall Palace and Bridewell Palace.
We will see Westminster Abbey and many other sites during this tour. A firm favourite with any Royal fan.
We will stop at several sites and some walking will be necessary to take in events such as Changing of the Guard.
I will collect you from your hotel or another agreed Central London location, and escort you to my London Taxi.
We will head towards the mall and St James' Park to take up position so we can watch the changing of the guards between the barracks and the palaces of Buckingham and St James'.
Upon return to the taxi we shall continue on to see the other Palaces, both past and present, ending with The Tower of London, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and a symbol of the domination of the Normans over the Saxons since the arrival of William the Conqueror.
