During this tour we will visit the oldest Choral Synagogue, constructed close to the former Jewish settlement, the one which continued to operate throughout the Soviet period despite all hardships of that time. You will also see Lubavichi ( HABAD)synagogue on Bolshaya Bronnaya street appeared in the house of prominent pre-revolutionary millionaire, industrialist and art patron, Lazar Polyakov. The building includes Holocause and Sobibor museum, museum of Jewish life in Moscow, classrooms, a bookstore, a lecture hall, mikvah, kosher grocery store and kosher restaurant.
Finally, we will have a chance to visit the Holocaust Memorial Synagogue which became a significant part of WWII Memorial complex in Victory park.

Irina was a terrific guide. She was there when we got off our ship and took us everywhere by metro which was an added bonus. When we got tired, she called ubers. She is extremely knowledgeable and her English is excellent. We saw the Choral Synagogue, 2 Jewish museums, community center. In future planning, I would suggest spending a little less time at the charity/medical complex to leave more time for the Museum of Tolerance where we ran short on time. I highly recommend Irina and this tour!
